So we are very new to RVing and drove out to Calgary from Ontario. We took a chance at calling in and staying at Riverbend Campground for 4 nights. They had just had a cancellation and we got a spot right next to the lake and we couldn’t be more pleased. If I could give the staff a higher rating on google I would. Extremely accommodating. Very quite and the couple people I had the pleasure of talking to were really nice. Highly recommend RBCG for your family.

Stayed for one week in 2020. Staff were courteous and helpful. Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. I liked the little lake and proximity to the river for water fun. The on site store was handy for ice creams and anything forgotten, like ketchup or a 30 amp receptacle. It was quiet at night and we had a nice visit here.

I highly recommend Riverbend Campground. Their facilities are always amazingly clean and they are fully on top of taking extra precautions in today's landscape. The staff and owners are fantastic and are very accomodating. The grounds are well taken care of and everyone works hard to make this campground beautiful. The people here are friendly and caring and have become our weekend family! We will continue to support and recommend this campground to everyone!

My wife and I both love coming here. The staff are friendly. Washrooms are so clean you could eat off the floor. They have nice nature trails where you could see many different types of birds. You could see sparrows, woodpeckers and deer. They have a fountain in the middle of the lake with many different colors at night. They have various playgrounds and mini golf for the kids. If you run short on food they have a little store where you can buy weiners, bacon and a variety of snacks chips, ice cream, pop and a variety of chocolate bars.

Just returned from a splendid camping trip at Riverbend. Very clean facility, showers are hot and only $1/5 mins. Trails are nicely groomed, sheep river is right there to wade and tube run, swimming in the pond was great and all the activities available to do with the kids at decent prices too. Our last night saw a horrific storm, but we were sheltered enough at our tent site, everything stayed intact. Staff is friendly and helpful and the area is quite quiet. No complaints, we will be back. Restrooms: Very clean, set your own temperature showers are hot and only $1/5 min!

We stayed here for 7 days and it was an awesome campground. There was so much to do mini golf, 3 parks, a lake, 4 person bikes, the sheep river and a bunch of creeks and trails. It was right on the edge of Okotoks and 20mins from Calgary. Solid recommendation for anyone looking for a campsite in the area.

The campground was wonderful. The site was vey private and well treed in. I will return to this campground again and again. It was so quiet and everyone around was so friendly. I had a wonderful time other then my dog being attacked. Not the fault of the campground workers. Their bundles of wood is a very good price compared to gas stations in the area. All and all, I would rate my stay a perfect 5 but due to my attack, I'm lowering it to a 4. **********UP DATE*********** The campground reached out to me and asked a few questions to determine who the dog belonged to. They then asked for a copy of my vet bill and if it was ok to share my email address to the to dog owner. I later received a email transfer for my vet bill. I am so happy with everyone involved in this matter. I am so impressed with the staff from River Bend Campground. I'm excite to return here in August.. Thank you so much Garnett MacLean Dog-friendliness: All dogs are to be on a leash at all times. It's a basic rule. But some people do not abide. My 13 year old westie was attacked while she was on a leash. The attacked cost me $458 and change. I reported this to the office and no sense of urgency, just that a map with the rules on the back was going to be sent to them. The campsite looked as if it was a seasonal, as it was fenced in at most sides. The people had the worst excuse for not tying their dog "I didn't think he would attack a westie as we just had ours put down", So the dog only attacks other breeds?

River bend was amazing!!! We took our girl guides out there for a campfire and they were wonderful to work with! They found us the perfect spot and then when that spot was wet and muddy, they found us another beautiful spot that was dry and comfortable! Thank you so much!! The girls had a wonderful time!

Just wanted to say coming from a guy who has hated camping with a passion his entire life, due to the great people ( from all the staff and fellow campers) I have a new found appreciation for the nature, friendships, and peacefulness that Riverbend Campground has provided.
