I highly recommend Riverbend Campground. Their facilities are always amazingly clean and they are fully on top of taking extra precautions in today's landscape. The staff and owners are fantastic and are very accomodating. The grounds are well taken care of and everyone works hard to make this campground beautiful. The people here are friendly and caring and have become our weekend family! We will continue to support and recommend this campground to everyone!

Neat campground, close to the city and just around the corner from beautiful Okotoks. Reasonable rates. Ladies in the office were very friendly and polite. Bathrooms are immaculate. We had planned for two nights but we had to leave early due to two of our kids not feeling well. We were slotted for East Tenting- but we also got confused with the site map and ended up setting up in West Tenting. Office ladies were happy to let us stay there once we realized our error and had already set up! West tenting spots are sparse of trees/cover (I'd be willing to bet due to the floods in 2013?). East tenting looked 'nicer' but still not very private. It isn't what we expected with so many permanent trailers/residents - they have community events that take place and a golf cart "posse" haha. But everyone we spoke to was nice. Many small playgrounds throughout the campsite- are they in the best condition? No. But honestly even with my kids (all under 6) a playground is a playground. They have fun with all of them. And that's the bottom of my list of 'needs and wants' in a campground. Reasonable little supply store, decent sized bags of wood. Mini golf and paddle boat rentals. We wish we could have done that today but alas the kids had other plans... I'm sure we will be back. We were in a tent trailer on a site with no hook ups. I wouldn't recommend the 'west tenting' spots with babies/toddlers.

Made a last minute reservation, they managed to get us in. Before we headed south we had a few days in Pincher Creek area. As we pulled into Pincher we knew something was wrong with our trailer. Long story short we had a broken axle. Holidays over!!!!! Phoned the ladies at Riverbend to explain what happened and they were amazing to deal with. When we are down that way again (after we get the axle fixed) we will most definitely stay there. Thanks again ladies for understanding. Don and Michelle

!!!!IMPORTANT!!!! My family an I have seen many Campgrounds in our travels, but not like Riverbend. The sites are large and great for an RV or trailer, and most important there clean. The wife raves, about how clean the bathrooms are. Lots of things for the kids to do. But for us,Its about the lawn chair the relaxing and listening to the water run by with the sounds of the birds in the air. We recently had our company BBQ there, all I know is now I have to fight more people for a reservation (FYI...Never been turned away). Great job Riverbend!!

Great camp ground nice and close to the city. Clean campground, clean washrooms and showers, great selection at the camp store and the kids love playing at the three parks. The pond gives it a nice feel and you can rent peddle boats to tour the pond. 4 seater bike rentals, golf cart rentals, mini golf, fire wood for purchase, propane onsite and the ladies who run the place and work there are fantastic, very kind and helpful. We’ve been three times this season already and plan to return soon. Great place to get out for a weekend with the family.

Love this campground.. It's close to Calgary so even though my hubby is on call all the time we can still take advantage of using our trailer. The bathrooms are very clean and the Ladies in the office are very friendly and make you feel at home. There are some neat nature trails and the river is great for swimming and pet freindly

This is our second year at Riverbend Campground and it gets better every year. There is so much for the kids to do here and we enjoy the river with our dog. We often finish the weekend with new friends from the other sites. The staff are wonderful and so easy to talk to. Looking forward to the best part of 2020, camping at Riverbend!

I loved this campground. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We booked lasy minutes because of work and they accommodated us right away and set up entry in case we were late. They had lots of fire wood to purchase and the sites along the lake were fairly large and private. We stayed in 2 sites and they were both full service hookups for motorhomes. Would definitely go back if I were in the area again
