What an exceptional campground. No wonder they won a tripadvisor award. The washrooms are of the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. Lots of amenities, multiple playgrounds, full hookups, couldn't ask for a better spot. Its right outside okotoks, but the drive down to the site makes it feel like you are far away from any civilization.

I have no idea how some people on here are saying anything bad about this camp ground! They obviously have no idea what its like at other campgrounds or have spent much time at others. I Spent a month and a half here this summer for work and it has been nothing but awesome. I am a super light sleeper and there was not a night where I was woke up by anything except my furnace kicking in. The camp sites are amazing as well with lots of room and treed. The staff were great and very accommodating. I will definitely be back in the future

Stayed for one week in 2020. Staff were courteous and helpful. Toilets and showers were kept clean and tidy. I liked the little lake and proximity to the river for water fun. The on site store was handy for ice creams and anything forgotten, like ketchup or a 30 amp receptacle. It was quiet at night and we had a nice visit here.

Stayed Thursday to Monday in a really nice site right beside the Swan river and last in the row. Power and water for services, they do have full hook-ups and dumping station. They have a lot of well maintained bathrooms with showers for $1.00 for 5 minutes. Few nature trails and a large pond. Lots of activities for the kids and on Saturday night they had Halloween for the kids. This is their second year in a row they had this event. Lots of parents and kids dress up. We had over 50 kids. Lots of people had Halloween decorations at their site which was nice. Very freindly and helpful staff. Around 11:00 Saturday night a site down the road started with their music and they all started to sing at the top of their lungs, it lasted no more then 5 minutes until they were shut down because you didn't hear a peep out of them after that. They done fool around with loud noise at all. Only issue we had is that it was around 31 degrees all weekend. Besides that vary relaxing and peaceful weekend. Look forward to returning.

Marylin and Kim are excellent hosts, we have been going her for a few years now and are never disappointed. The sites are spacious and services always work. There is a small store on site for a few basics, the nature path is good also and you are only a 2 minute drive into Okotoks. Highly recommend this spot for a quick get away or longer.

We hosted a 4 night camping wedding at Riverbend in mid July. The location was perfect for family & guests not staying overnight as they could commute easily from Calgary. The sites were clean and had fire pits as well as we moved a large ring to make a community fire pit area. We rented all of D loop as well as the hall with full kitchen including 2 stoves, 2 fridges, an indoor grill and a freezer for the duration of our event. There were also 2 bbqs with propane to use. We had access to this building and prepared group breakfasts and dinners as well as hosted our reception in the hall. The hall had lots of picnic tables, folding tables, a little stage, and super cute icicle lights that we turned on and added a cute ambiance. Marilyn & her staff were amazing! They mowed the little alcove area behind D loop (across the little bridge by the outdoor tent) that we were using for our wedding. They blocked off the road for our event. The guests had fun renting the paddle boats, bikes, etc. There was also wifi for a very reasonable fee. In addition to Marilyn, a shout out to Brenda and Angela. I do wish I could remember all the staffs’ names as they all contributed to our amazing celebration but I didn’t keep a list and there was a lot going on for me ☺️.

Neat campground, close to the city and just around the corner from beautiful Okotoks. Reasonable rates. Ladies in the office were very friendly and polite. Bathrooms are immaculate. We had planned for two nights but we had to leave early due to two of our kids not feeling well. We were slotted for East Tenting- but we also got confused with the site map and ended up setting up in West Tenting. Office ladies were happy to let us stay there once we realized our error and had already set up! West tenting spots are sparse of trees/cover (I'd be willing to bet due to the floods in 2013?). East tenting looked 'nicer' but still not very private. It isn't what we expected with so many permanent trailers/residents - they have community events that take place and a golf cart "posse" haha. But everyone we spoke to was nice. Many small playgrounds throughout the campsite- are they in the best condition? No. But honestly even with my kids (all under 6) a playground is a playground. They have fun with all of them. And that's the bottom of my list of 'needs and wants' in a campground. Reasonable little supply store, decent sized bags of wood. Mini golf and paddle boat rentals. We wish we could have done that today but alas the kids had other plans... I'm sure we will be back. We were in a tent trailer on a site with no hook ups. I wouldn't recommend the 'west tenting' spots with babies/toddlers.

When I had family coming to visit and they were asking about campgrounds, I found so many great reviews for this site. And the reviews were correct. This is such a great little place - welcoming, organized, beautiful, and conveniently located. The pond in the middle of everything was really the icing on the cake.
