Nature Trails

One of the primary reasons to go camping is to be close to nature. Be sure to check out all three of our trails. All are easy and feature a variety of terrain, Our Campground Nature Trails will expose you to different species of trees, undergrowth and wildlife. If you are interested in birding many species can be found at Riverbend. Look for signs at the entrance to trails throughout the campground. The trails along the hillside are hard packed dirt and gravel. Trails along creeks and marshes are wood mulch which minimizes soil erosion.
