Camper Rules and Regulations

Note: Riverbend Campground offers online booking for short stay campers only. Monthly and seasonal bookings must be done by phone.

To confirm your booking your credit card will be charged one night’s stay. We require 7 days notice to cancel a reservation which will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee. All cancellations with less than 7 days notice and all No Shows will be charged for one night. No shows will be determined at 8:00pm each night unless we are notified of a late arrival.

Campground Rules – To ensure the rights and privacy of you and your camping neighbors, we ask your cooperation with these regulations.

Check Out TimeNEW FOR 2023 – 12:00 noon. Please re-register before 11:00am if you are staying an additional day. Please check with the office if you are unable to vacate by noon

Day Guests – There is a charge for day guests. All guests must register at the office to receive a Day Pass Card for their vehicle. Day Passes are only valid on the date of issue. No Day Passes will be issued after 9:00pm. Day Guests must leave the park before 11:00pm. Only registered campers are permitted to remain within the campground between 11:00pm to 7:00am.

Gates – Gates close at 10:00pm and open at 7:00am. Tampering with the automatic gate is a serious violation and may result in eviction.

Speed – The speed limit throughout the entire campground is 15 KPH. Speeders will be evicted immediately.

Pets – Pets must be kept on leash and under control by the owners at all times. Owners will be held responsible for any damages or injuries done by the pet. Pets are not to be left unattended and are not to be permitted to cause undue noise, threat or injury to others. Please pick up after you pet immediately.

Campfires – Fires must be contained within the fire ring, never leave a campfire unattended. Firewood thieves will be prosecuted. Do not chop down live trees. Fires must be out by 1:00am.

Children – Parents are responsible for their children. Children must be at their campsite after dark. Young children must be accompanied by an adult when using the washrooms.

Garbage and Recycling – Place all garbage in receptacles. We recycle and ask for your cooperation by placing clean recyclables in appropriate bins. (Firepits are NOT garbage receptacles)

Riverbank Stabilization – WARNING: Use the river and armoured bank at your own risk! Removal of any rocks above water level may result in eviction.

Excessive Noise – Quiet time is between 11:00pm to 9:00am. Excessive noise at any time is not tolerated. Remember that sound travels further in open air, especially music and loud talking. Eviction is possible if you do not comply.

Alcohol & Cannabis – Alcohol and Cannabis are for use at your site ONLY. Please do not walk through the campground carrying these substances.

Secure Your Belongings – Campers are responsible for securing all of their personal belongings. Riverbend Campground is not responsible for loss of personal property.

The above regulations can be enforced through fines, court appearances and/or immediate eviction from the park.
